MOULD, A Festival Celebrating Australia’s Best Cheesemakers Returns In 2023

Eat, Events, Sydney / 14 February 2023

The oh-so-popular MOULD Cheese Festival is coming back to Carriageworks this winter!

MOULD, the festival dedicated to all things stinky, gooey and a little bit funky, is returning to Sydney in 2023. This event is presented by REVEL, the team behind Pinot Palooza, which means you can expect it to be an action-packed event featuring good food and wine. The two-day event is giving lovers of all things cheese the chance to talk to some of Australia’s top artisan producers and sample their cheeses.

For Sydneysiders, the festival will run from Friday 30th June – Saturday 1st July at the iconic Carriageworks precinct. Uniting the best producers from across the country, expect a weekend of cheese, wine, masterclasses and so much more.

Mould Cheese Festival

In 2023, Mould will feature more cheese, more producers, and more sessions than ever before. Expect to see returning cheese veterans such as Bruny Island Cheese Co, Grandvewe, Milawa Cheese, Yarra Valley Dairy, Stone & Crow, Section 28, Red Cow Organics, The Pines, Vannella, Nimbin Valley Cheese and more.

What makes an ideal pairing with cheese, you might ask? Wine, naturally. Over the course of the weekend, you can expect flowing wines, plus whisky, beer, and cider. Everything at the bar will be perfectly matched to the tastings.

Tickets are just $40pp and include all cheese tastings, a Dairy Australia esky and a glass of wine to taste from and take home. To purchase your ticket to Mould Cheese Festival, click here.
