Pinot Palooza returns in all its wine-filled glory this June at Sydney’s Carriageworks. Get your tickets!
Pinot Palooza, the largest Pinot festival in the southern hemisphere is set to return to Sydney, Melbourne & Brisbane from June. It will be bigger and more burgundy than ever before to celebrate Australia’s finest red grape. Expect to taste only the best Pinot from producers across Australia, bop along to great music and eat your way through a rocking food lineup that is yet to be annouced.
The Festival promises ‘no pesky tokens’, meaning unlimited access to all wines, all day. Repeat offenders like Devil’s Corner (Tasmania), Handpicked (Mornington Peninsula) & Saw & Smith (Adelaide Hills) are amongst the lineup for the tenth year anniversary in Sydney. Other Pinot Noir producers include Giant Steps, Spring Vale, Yering Station and Riot Wine Co, just to name a few from the 150+ list.
This year, the event has over 20 of Tasmania’s best wine producers joining the event in each city of the tour, including many rarely, if ever, seen on the mainland. And it’s not just about the Pinot, you’ll find incredible cheese, spirits and cider from some of Tasmania’s most talented producers, too.
Beer will also be provided for those seeking a different palette with Brick Lane Brewing having Sydney, Brisbane & Melbourne covered.
Want to get your wine geek on? Or learn a thing or two about a particular region or producer? Then the free wine chats are for you. Held throughout each session, you’ll get to hear from the makers and shakers who just happen to make (or know) the best bloody pinot on the planet.
A standard ticket ($65), includes unlimited tastings of all wines available on the day and an epic wine glass (valued at $25) to taste from and take home. The 2022 event will be at the usual Carriageworlks location however unlike other years, ticket holders will be able to choose from multiple session times over the two days in all four cities.
