Moonlight Cinema is back with some hot new flicks!
Summer is shining as Moonlight Cinema returns for its 28th summer season, promising an incredible lineup of blockbusters, festive favourites, and family-friendly films. From late November 2023 to April 2024, Centennial Parklands will transform into a cinematic wonderland and the best part? It’s dog-friendly!
Get ready for a cinematic feast! From beloved classics like Love Actually, Die Hard, and Home Alone, to the heartwarming Elf, the December program has something for everyone. But that’s not all! Exclusive previews of upcoming releases such as The Hunger Games: Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes, Trolls Band Together, and hotly anticipated rom-com set in the stunning harbour city, Anyone But You.
For those still obsessed with everyone’s favourite doll, a whole weekend of ‘Pink Party’ screenings for Barbie, will turn Moonlight pink from the 8th – 9th of December. All Barbies and Kens are highly encouraged to dress the part and enjoy the epic film soundtrack under the summer night sky.
December is all about giving, and we’ve got something special in store for film buffs. Be the first to catch special preview screenings of the critically acclaimed May December starring Natalie Portman. For sports fans, the highly anticipated Next Goal Wins directed by Taika Waititi is also on offer.
At Moonlight Cinema, it’s not just about the movies. Each city will come alive with activations and bars, including the brand-new Aperol Spritz Bar – a summer essential! Returning favourites include the Garnier Garden Cart, which offers guests samples of Garnier’s popular products to test out. And for your sweet tooth, the Connoisseur Lounge, where tickets come with a bean bed in reserved seating with a delectable ice cream.
There are also gold and platinum packages available, offering a range of exclusive food and beverage options delivered right to your bean bed! And for the more organised type, guests are welcome to prepare their own picnics paired with their perfect sip.
Sydney sessions will run from the end of November 2023 to April 2024 at Centennial Parklands, and the best part is the showings are dog-friendly!
Tickets are on sale now for sessions between 23 November and 30 December at moonlight.com.au with more sessions and movie titles to be announced soon as the lineup drops month by month.
