Messina Eats serves up gelato, baos and soda!

In the spirit of #treatyoself, Gelato Messina is hosting Messina Eats, an exciting collaboration of some of the biggest names in food. Who can you expect? Well for two indulgent days at the end of the month, WONDERBAO, P.S Soda and the crew from Messina will be commanding Messina HQ in Rosebery with a feast of both savoury and sweet. Savoury bao buns, ice-cream and soda all under the one roof? You got it!
Hailing from Melbourne, the crew from WONDERBAO will be gracing Sydney’s shores in an effort to showcase their mouthwatering menu. Expect everything from their pork belly, fried chicken and fried tofu Gau Bao’s, BBQ Pork and veggie buns and speciality potato gems.

Feeling thirsty after consuming all that salty goodness? The second big name gracing this event is P.S Soda. Supplying drinks to venues such as Archie Rose, Firedoor and Bennelong, P.S Soda are well known for the signature handmade, natural sodas. The signature flavour available during Messina Eats will include the Blackstrap Ginger, a bubbly concoction using Australian ginger, blackstrap molasses, allspice, lemon juice and pink salt. Grapefruit and honey beverages will also be available to wash down all of the wondrous bao’s you can get your hands on.
This event wouldn’t be complete without a giant hit of Messina gelato goodness. On offer will be the Chinese Classic, deep fried ice cream balls filled with ‘dan ta’ (egg custard tart) gelato, on a pillowy bed of mango custard.
As you sit back and enjoy all these awesome eats, Mark Crotti will also be there to provide some soothing tunes. So come get your BAO CHICKA WOW BAO on at this foodies event not to be missed!
