Escape the winter chill at Chivas Lodge pop-up bar!
Chivas Lodge has arrived at picturesque Pier One in Walsh Bay and is set to stay for the next three months. This ski lodge inspired chalet will transport you straight to the Swiss Alps, with throws, plush rugs and leather furnishings set to envelope you and your friends.
Partnering up with Chivas Regal Whisky, the cabin is currently promoting five variations of Chivas Regal served both on the rocks or neat, with homemade coriander and orange chocolate.
Six whisky inspired concoctions will feature on an exclusive cocktail menu, including the ‘Nuts & Curd’, using Chivas Regal 12, lemon curd, fennel, honey syrup and a splash of Frangelico. There to satisfy your winter appetite is also a food menu both rich and comforting. Patrons can order items such as the veal served with tarragon or the smoked trout with roe and fresh watercress.
You can expect to see plenty of freebies, including complimentary tasting plates shared between friends. Every Friday, three minute massage angles will roam about the room, offering some temporary relaxation for all you busy after-workers. Select DJs and jazz musicians will also provide soul soothing beats on Saturdays and Sundays.
On top of all this, there are also various exciting events going on.
Rachel MacDonald, Chivas Regal National Brand Ambassador, will be hosting a series of whisky tasting masterclasses on 14th July, 12th August, 26th August, 2nd September and 23rd September.
For the champagne lovers in the room, there will also be G.H Mumm Champagne tastings. National Brand Ambassador Chris Sheehyl will explore the history of G.H. Mumm with an extensive tasting of five wine varieties. Tastings will occur on three separate nights, including 29th July, 19th August and 16th September.
For a night of indulgence, Chivas lodge will also be hosting an exclusive five course Whisky Degustation Dinner with The Gantry’s Joel Bickford on 15th September.
