Who doesn’t love a dose of free live music? Merivale’s See Sound has your social calendar sorted this summer.
Your summer selection of gigs just got a whole lot more interesting, with Merivale announcing the launch of an exciting live music series. See Sound, a new collaborative venture between Merivale and Furphy, sees FREE gigs popping up at some of Sydney’s top bars.
With the waves crashing in the background, head to the Coogee Pavilion Rooftop on Sundays from 2pm to find DJs spinning house, funk and disco. You can also expect a few surprise big-name acts, set to be announced in the upcoming weeks. Hayden James most recently took Coogee Pavilion by storm on Sunday 13th January, giving you a taste of what is to come in the upcoming gigs. Pencil Sunday 17th February and Sunday 17th March in the diary, with two of Australia’s most hyped acts bringing their feel-good tunes to Coogee’s rooftop. Travel over to the Inner West to find Vic on the Park hosting their own unique live music sessions. Showcasing both local and interactional names in music from 8pm on Fridays, punters can expect a mix of rock and roll, hip hop, psychedelic, garage rock and indie. As for Bondi favourite, The Royal, See Sound will be bringing the breezy vibes every Saturday, serving up a range of local DJs each week in the front room, with two live gigs scheduled over the summer.
