Marrah Bar and Restaurant Launches Chandon Bubbly Brunch

Eat, Sydney / 26 May 2021

Brunch just got bubbly at Mediterranean-inspired Marrah Coogee.

The only thing better than a bottomless brunch is a beachside bottomless brunch. This Saturday, you’re going to want to grab your mimosa-loving mates or avo-obsessed amigos and head to Coogee’s coast to experience Marrah’s brand new brunch offering.

Upon arrival, you’ll be met by a Mediterranean-inspired spread that’s perfect for sharing, designed by Executive Chef Nathan Tillott. “Our menu heroes fresh, local produce with a focus on quality. The Mediterranean brunch board features share plates that bring simple and delicious ingredients to life; the perfect match for free-flowing Chandon mimosas,” says Tillot.

There’s something for everyone at Marrah and even your fussiest friends will be catered for. Dessert lovers will go straight for the slightly sweet lemon cheese pastry and the seasonal fruit with vanilla yoghurt. Those with a hankering for something salty will have their cravings satisfied by shaved prosciutto, grilled halloumi, and the roast pepper, olive and potato omelette. Prefer to stick to the classics? You’ll be pleased to find perfect poached eggs, a side of smoked salmon and smashed avo on toast sitting perched close by. But, why choose only one when you can have them all? It will be hard to go back to a classic a la carte situation once you’ve sampled from Marrah’s brunch board.

The food isn’t the only highlight at Marrah. The most fun you will have at this luxe brunch set up will come from the Chandon mimosa cart. As it wheels its way around to you, you’ll be asked to choose from a changing juice list to pair with your Chandon bubbly. Options include passionfruit, pineapple, raspberry, orange, peach and more, plus you can add berries to garnish. With mimosas as pretty as these, it’ll be hard to stop at just one. Luckily you won’t have to with two hours of free-flowing bubbles included in your bubbly brunch package.

The recently renovated interiors are as boujee as to be expected after a recent decor glow-up. There’s a hand-painted seascape mural on the wall, a billowing gold textured ceiling and scalloped wooden tables scattered throughout the restaurant. Every little detail emulates Marrah’s enviable coastal surroundings.

The Marrah Chandon Bubbly Brunch will take place every Saturday, with two separate two-hour sittings at 11am and 1pm. Each week there will be live entertainment to set the scene while you dine, head to the website to see what’s coming up.
