Taphouse Darlinghurst

Taphouse Darlinghurst — Rooftop Pints, Prawn Toast and a Pub That Runs Late

One of the best rooftops in Darlinghurst, the Taphouse is the perfect half-way point between the city and Moore Park, it’s great for a pregame drink and meal or for soaking up the sun on the iconic triangular rooftop.

There’s more than 20 taps at the timber bar, pulling brews from a rotating selection of local Sydney breweries and international classics.

Not a schnitty in sight, the entire menu here is inspired by Chinese takeaway. Dumplings, noodles, fried rice and prawn toast are the go tos. And, we’re totally here for the inventive apple pie spring roll.

Expect DJs set the mood, and the big screens make it a solid pick for live sport if you couldn’t get tickets to the live game down the road. It's loud, fun and unfussy, ideal for a group dinner that turns into a long night out.
