Lucio Pizzeria has recently opened its second restaurant in Zetland’s new East Village complex.
After eight years of serving up crusty margarita pizzas and cheesy calzones in Darlinghurst, the Zetland restaurant will now be offering a daily Italian-style lunch. It will also be introducing a mozzarella bar with a selection of uniquely Italian cheese platters complete with ‘tagliere’ di salumi.
Head Chef and owner Lucio De Falco says he uses inspiration from the Campania region and Southern Italy and only cooks with fresh ingredients from Australia.
“It is important not to overcomplicate things in the kitchen, especially when working with authentic recipes,” he said.
Lucio Pizzeria has gluten free options and is open daily for lunch and dinner.
