Lobster & Co are touring the East Coast in a silver bullet trailer and they’ve added a second must-try dish to their once single-item menu.
A wild-caught whole confit lobster tail served warm in a caramelised brioche bun, is the dish of the day at the pop-up food truck traversing Sydney shores. Setting voyage for the first time since 2018, Lobster & Co’s decadent offering is set to cause quite a splash. The silver bullet food truck will arrive from the second leg of their East Coast tour in Queensland, setting up shop for a limited time this September.
Just in time for summer, the luxe trailer will arrive complete with white picket fencing and seating slap bang in the middle of Moore Parks Entertainment Quarter during what will be Sydney’s most anticipated foodie event of the year, Taste in the City.
Spanning September 3rd – 4th, the Lobster & Co pop-up is here for a good time, not a long time so be sure to bring your picnic blanket as the limited seating is guaranteed to fill up fast. Diners have been known to travel over 100km just to get a taste of the buttery succulent goodness of the famed lobster rolls, with the iconic food truck trending in Melbourne during its residency there as the city’s number one thing to do.
The famed lobster roll showcases sustainably caught Western Rock Lobster from the pristine waters of WA’s rugged coastline. Each lobster tail is confited and served warm with buttermilk fennel slaw alongside a serving of golden parmesan truffle fries. This year, Lobster & Co have extended their menu offering with luxurious lobster chowder. The creamy affair comes served in a hollowed-out sourdough loaf for ultimate mop-up power.
At $50 and $40 a serve, this is debatably the boujiest food truck order you’ll make this year, so by Eat Drink Play logic, you may as well go all-out and order a chilled glass of Pommery Champagne to go with it.
