Weekends are made for tacos and tequila at the Darlo Laneway Fiesta.
It’s time to whip out those maracas, dust off that fruit bowl hat and put on your best dancing shoes, a laneway fiesta is coming to Darlinghurst this Saturday 25th February. Kicking off at 12pm and running until 6pm, Darlinghurst road will transform into the ultimate street party with Latin DJs, delicious Mexican street food, cocktails and ice cold cervezas.
Following the success of last year’s inaugural street fiesta, Pablo’s Kitchen will once again team up with Playa Takeria. Opening their doors in December 2014, Playa Takeria are renown for their authentic recipes and thirst quenching margaritas. Hailing from Playa Del Carmen, Head Chef Alejandro Urbina’s menu reflects the vibrancy of the Caribbean with a sense of the traditional Mexican taquerias.
With no shop front, you’ll be most familiar with Pablo’s Kitchen on food delivery apps Deliveroo, Foodora and UberEats. Pablo’s has been donned the as the ‘Uber Of Authentic Mexican & South American Food’, supplying tasty street food fanfare to the Sydney CBD and surrounding suburbs since June 2016. They also specialise in catering for events, business functions and house parties.
Providing the sweet tunes on the day will be a string of Latin DJs. Before sure to also keep your eyes peeled for the talented team at Tropical Soul Dance Studio. They’ll be showcasing their best salsa, bachata and other Latin dance moves. Don’t be put off, everyone of all dance levels are encouraged to join in!
