Remember when Belle’s Hot Chicken took over Harpoon Harry’s last month? We have fond memories too.
This month, Hotel Harry are delivering Huxtaburger, another Melbourne institution with a unique and highly acclaimed burger menu. The ‘Friends of Harry’s’ food series has been hugely successful and it’s safe to say we are all looking forward to the Huxtaburger edition.
Huxtaburger is the brainchild of Daniel Wilson, Dante Ruaine and Jeff Wong. Since opening in early 2012, the take-away burger joint has opened its doors in Melbourne in four venues in Collingwood, Prahran, the CBD and Hawthorn. Boasting ‘hot beef and cold beer’ all year round.
The menu will feature the ‘Huxtaburger’ a tasty combination of chef best beef, mustard, mayonnaise, tomato sauce, tomatoes, lettuce, cheese and pickles. The newest editions to the Huxtaburger family are the ‘Clair’, a southern-style fried chicken burger and the ‘Sondra’ tofu burger.
There will be gluten free buns available as well as burger options for the kids.
For the die-hard Huxtaburger fans, Daniel Wilson will be signing copies of his new book, “The Huxtaburger Book: The Art & Science of the Perfect Burger.”
