Get ready for the return of Huge Moves! Australia’s premier natural wine fair is back at the Ace Hotel in Surry Hills for its 9th round.
Natural wine is making waves right now, taking over shelves as people embrace its “funky” flavours and minimal intervention methods. After all, if you’re going to enjoy wine, why not choose options that are environmentally friendly and good for your body?
If you’re a fan of natural wine, you won’t want to miss the return of Huge Moves for its 9th year. This premier natural wine fair, the brainchild of DRNKS owner Joel Amos, is set to take place on Saturday, October 19th, starting at noon across two levels of the stunning Ace Hotel Sydney.
Nestled at the edge of the Central Business District in Surry Hills, the Ace Hotel is housed in a beautifully restored former brick factory, making it the perfect venue for this luxurious event.
Huge Moves will showcase over 35 winemakers, producers, and distributors from around the world, offering tastings of some of the finest minimal-intervention wines. Look out for rare drops from Lo-Fi Wines, including Gut Oggau, Borachio, Sinking Wines, Werkstatt Wine, and Château Acid. Not a drinker? No problem! There will also be alcohol-free options from Matéo Soda, Melbourne’s beloved booze-free brand Tina, and more.
Prepare for over 100 wine tastings at Huge Moves, paired with delicious bites from Loam, the Ace Hotel’s ground-floor restaurant. Indulge in grilled focaccia, Ortiz anchovies (with their stunning packaging), Jamon de Bellota (aged for 36 months), and a curated selection of cheeses from the popular cheese stand that wowed attendees at Huge Moves #8 last May.
The celebration will continue with DJs spinning tunes throughout the day, culminating in an after-party starting at 4 p.m. with $10 lucky dip pours—surprise selections of wines for you to enjoy. Connect with fellow natural wine enthusiasts, discover new favourites, savour Loam’s delicious offerings, and dance the night away!
