Farr Rising Dinner
The Farr Rising winery in the Mooroobool Valley, between Ballarat and Geelong is in one of the oldest wine producing regions in Australia and once you try wines by Farr Rising, you will understand why they are some of the most popular wines on the list at Hotel Centennial. Nick Farr is one of Australia’s hardest working and most respected young winemakers and does an extra vintage in Burgundy at Domaine Dujac every year to further hone his skills. Nick says of his wines:- “The wines we make are not mainstream—they are expressions of our vineyard, our land and what we like to drink. That is what we promise to deliver.”
Taste some of the latest releases from Farr Rising and unique wine styles from this exciting vineyard and then movie onto to the High Table to experience an indulgent three course dinner match with the wines.

Cooks Co-op with Martin Boetz (ex-Longrain) and Justin North
When Martin Boetz, the longstanding and highly regarded chef of Longrain Sydney and Melbourne started his Cook’s Co-op project near the Hawkesbury River it combined his passion for horticulture and his love of food: Now he is a major supplier to Sydney’s top restaurants. Join Hotel Centennial for their premier 2nd Birthday Week event to discover Martin’s journey, from a chef influenced by Chinese and Thai flavours that redefined Asian cuisine in Australia to an honest to goodness man of the land. The Cook’s Co-Op producer’s dinner will also feature wines from leading Hunter Valley biodynamic and organic winemakers – Krinklewood with a selection of wines that will be paired with dishes from the menu.
