Get ready to celebrate the very best Australian produce, winemakers, artisans, and chefs.
Coming back for its 22nd year, The Good Food & Wine Show will take guests on a foodie journey around the country’s top wine regions, showcase the best food, and host brand-new masterclasses like never before.
Expect star-studded appearances from celebrity chefs you know and love, like Miguel Maestre, Nagi Maehashi of RecipeTin Eats, and Justine Schofield, who will demonstrate their skills live on stage (so you can take notes and marvel at their culinary flare). You’ll also see fan favourites Brandan Pang and Kirsten Tibballs take over two brand new, never seen before stages throughout the festival – The v2food Plant Based Stage and The Baking stage.
Arrive early to explore over 250 stalls with exhibitors showing off their best of the best produce and artisan products. You can step inside the Cheese Corner, where you can find (literally) all things dedicated to cheese, browse the Good Food Village, which is a market-style hub to sample and buy from local producers or taste the Wine Regions – Barossa, Margaret River, Clare Valley, and McLaren Vale.
One of the popular events to look out for is the Furi Knife Skills Masterclass, where you can sharpen up your slicing and dicing skills with a hands-on demonstration. The Furi masterclass runs for 45 minutes and will teach you all the cutting-edge techniques you need to know to not only up your cooking game, but to impress your guests for your next dinner party. The best part is, you get to create your own dish as you go along and eat it too! Plus, you’ll take home your very own Furi Pro EAST/WEST Santoku Knife (RRP $119.95).
Test your soda skills at a SodaStream Mixology Moments session, where you can learn how to create your own delicious cocktails and mocktails at home. You’re in charge of your own creation, so you can put your own fun twist or change up a classic recipe to experiment with something unique. Sip on your previous drinks as you create new ones, and take home a SodaStream goodie bag worth $50 at the end.
You can also take a seat at the brand new v2food Plant Cooking Stage to discover v2food’s modern take on traditional meat-based dishes. Follow along with chefs as they demonstrate live and be surprised at just how many dishes look, cook and taste exactly like meat. They’ll be sharing their tips and tricks on how you can incorporate plant-based meat into your everyday cooking, whilst cooking up a storm on stage. Whether you’re a seasoned plant-based connoisseur or trying it for the first time, it’s a must-visit stage at the Good Food & Wine Show.
The Good Food & Wine Show runs for 3 days, on 23rd June – 25th June. Tickets are now on sale and can be purchased through their website here.
