Gin Palooza, A Two-Day Gin Festival is Coming to Sydney

Drink / February 13, 2019

Unlimited gin tastings, mixers and meet-the-maker sessions mark just the start of Sydney’s Gin Palooza.

Our love for gin is stronger than ever, so much so that the Australian Gin Distillers Association is hosting the ultimate event for lovers of the aromatic spirit – the Sydney Gin Palooza.

Held over two jam-packed days on Friday 8th and Saturday 9th March, the Gin Palooza sees 37 of Australia’s top gin distillers under the one roof, popping up at well-known restaurant, Manjit’s, situated on King Street Wharf. Think Manly Spirits, Archie Rose, Hemp Gin (the first distillers to infuse hemp seeds into a magic combination of botanicals), Imperial Measures, Distillery Botanica, Fossey’s Gin, Lawrenny, Karu Distillers and plenty more.

For just $70pp, punters will be able to enjoy entry to the festival, plus UNLIMITED gin tastings, CAPI mixers and canapés throughout the five sessions. There will also be espresso coffee for everyone and a Bormioli shot glass to take home. For those looking to meet the makers, this is your chance, the faces of Australia’s top brands on site throughout the two-day event.

Taste something that you like on the day? Punters will also be given the opportunity to buy a bottle or two at the Pop-Up Gin Shoppe.

Like gin? love brunch? A short, two-hour brunch session will also be held on the Saturday at the Palooza, where early starters can ease their way into the morning with a coffee and croissant, followed on by a G&T – all included in a $55 brunch ticket price. We’ll cheers to that.
