Get Ready For Burger Fest At the Nest

Eat, Festivals, Sydney / 29 September 2021

Burger festival? Now that’s something we all want to mark on our calendars.

If you’re someone who can’t go a week without a juicy burger and typically debate your friends over the best burger spots in Sydney, you’re going to want to mark your calendars for the annual Burger Fest at the Nest. Just like everything, COVID-19 has put restrictions around how the festival can run, so the festival will take an unusual, but delicious format in 2021.

The Burger Fest at the Nest will take place between the 2nd and 17th of October in Crows Nest Village. You are invited to order a selection of new burgers at local restaurants and cafes and place your vote for the ‘Best Burger In The Nest’. The experience can be completely contactless via pick-up and delivery. Community safety is number one, burgers are number two.

So who will be involved? When it comes to burgers, Crows Nest has a lot to offer. The festival has 14 participating food outlets including Stuyvesants House, Johnny Bird, Salmon & Bear, Plan B Crows Nest, Bean Drinking, Milky Lane, Xenos Restaurant Bar Cafe, The Moody Chef, Double Cross Espresso Bar, Fin Fine Fish & Chips, Not Bread Alone Cafe, Blend Bar Co, The Wooden Whisk Cafe and Luho Restaurant.

No competition comes without a few rules…

  1. The competition is open to Crows Nest Mainstreet food outlets only.
  2. Each registered food outlet can enter up to 3 burgers of their choice, the only rule is it has to be on a bun.
  3. The food outlets will run the burger/s as a special for 2 weeks from midday 2 October – 2pm 17 October 2021.
  4. The Burgers will be judged by the public by scanning a QR Code on the Voting Form supplied with each Burger sale.

Competition time…

The best part about voting for the best burger in The Nest is that you will go into the draw to WIN 1 of 3 Burger Gift Cards (up to the value of $100 each) from a registered food outlet of choice. The winner will be announced on @crowsnestnsw at 5pm 17 October 2021.
