Australia’s leading culinary festival is back with an impressive lineup of industry talents like Rick Stein and Maggie Beer.
If you consider yourself a foodie and love attending events like the Good Food & Wine Show, we’d suggest putting the Western Australia Gourmet Escape on your bucket list. Over eight years, the festival has worked its way to becoming Australia’s biggest food and wine festival. It’s known for being held in beautiful locations across WA and for featuring a lineup of internationally acclaimed culinary talent, year after year.
This year, the festival will run from the 17th to the 21st of November and by then, you’ll be well ready to pack your bags and get out of the city. You’ll be heading to iconic locations including Margaret River, Perth, Swan Valley and they’ve even leveled up last year to add Rottnest Island to the location list. Ticket holders will unleash 30 unique foodies experiences alongside the stacked-up talent of Australia’s most loved and respected culinary stars.
Which renowned chefs will headline?
The event will of course feature leading local WA talent including Curtis Stone, Rick Stein, Shannon Martinez, Colin Fassnidge, Matt Stone, Guillaume Brahimi and Guy Grossi. You’ll also get to see icons including Stephanie Alexander and Maggie Beer, as well as watch new talent erupt from Curly Haslam-Coates, Erin Larkin and Samantha Payne.

What delicious food events will run?
There are over 30 events for you to look forward to and you can guarantee, there’s something to suit everyone’s palate. Rottnest Sunset will be a dreamy alfresco feast at Pinky’s Beach Club with Rick Stein and Colin Fassnidge. Dine & Disco will help you get your groove on under the night sky at a brand new rooftop space atop the Art Gallery of Western Australia. A Thousand Thanks Dinner will celebrate the Swan Valley’s rich Italian heritage at Sandalford Estate with icons Stephanie Alexander, Maggie Beer and Guy Grossi. And at The Vineyard Party, you will experience a lush wine dinner on the stunning grounds of Leeuwin Estate with a menu designed by celebrity chefs.
