With the Easter long weekend just a few weeks away, we’re all looking for ways to make the most of our extra days of freedom. With two public holidays in a row, there’s never been a better opportunity to grab your crew and celebrate with a five-day disco party at The Golden Sheaf. Dance floors are back and The Golden Sheaf are ready to welcome you all back with your dancing shoes on.
From April 1st to 5th, get ready for an unmissable long weekend of disco-themed fun at The Golden Sheaf. That means it’s time to dust off your sequins and grab your best flares for this ultimate retro dance party.
The Golden Sheaf will be transformed into 70s discoland with neon lights and disco balls adorning their beer garden. And there’s an incredible live music line-up and exclusive menus not to be missed too.
Kicking off the event on April 1st will be Live Music Thursday with Sydney-based vocalist and musician Gemma. She will be taking over the venue to deliver the ultimate disco tunes. Get ready for Good Friday Vibes with UNDR Ctrl DJs hitting the decks all day from 12 pm to 10 pm.
On Saturday, Picnic presents a huge night of disco fun with a killer line-up of talent ready to make you boogie. They’ll be Touch Sensitive (DJ set), Harvey Sutherland (DJ set), JNETT (MELB), Lazywax (Live), and Harry Staubs hitting the stage. And to round out the weekend, swing by for Live Music Sundayz for the ultimate recovery set by Melinda Jackson and score delicious eats for the whole family with their Kids Eat Free Monday.
Throughout the weekend, The Golden Sheaf will be pouring exclusive $15 disco drinks. Sip your way through cocktails such as Stars In Your Eyes (42 Below Vodka, candy syrup, lemon, soda), Disco Biscuit (Bacardi Spiced, mango, disco ball, coconut, lime), and Can We Dance Yet? (Espolon Blanco, Chilli & kaffir lime gave).
Plus, once you’ve worked up an appetite you can score Retro Snacks including Deviled Eggs ($10), Roast Chicken vol au vent ($12), and even a Disco Biscuit Ice-Cream Sandwich ($12).
