Bunker down at Della Hyde!

Winter is coming…as in it starts tomorrow! Waaaaa. Fear not however, the guys at Della Hyde have predicted our impending sadness as the mornings get even darker and nights painfully colder, hosting a soul warming event, Della’s Aprés-Ski.
This Wednesday 1st June from 6pm, take off your metaphorical ski boots and kick your feet up in Della Hyde’s cosey underground world as they get set to launch their new winter drinks menu and schedule for a series of tastings that will be running over the month of June.
Think warm fire place, finger licking comfort food, belly warming cocktail vibes. Sounds pretty good right?
To sweeten the deal even further, Della Hyde will be handing out a glass of complimentary Mumm Champagne to each guest on arrival. If one glass of champas doesn’t quite hit the mark, bottles will be available late into the night at $99 each.

As the night goes on you will also be able to sample an array of warming beverages, including a Mulled Wine Daiquiri ($18), a delectable mixture of Havana, mulled wine syrup and lime. If that doesn’t tickle your fancy, try their Barrel-Aged Old Fashioned ($20), incorporating cognac, Chivas whisky, maple syrup and chocolate bitters. Um, yes please!
Through the month of June, Della Après-Ski, in conjunction with Thredbo Tourism, will also be showcasing a selection of themed tastings. Bring your mates along to a night of fun, with events such as Wild Brumby schnapps tasting, whisky and cheese matching, wine tasting with antipasto platters and an Irish vs. Scotch whisky battle.
