Paddington’s Chauvel Cinema is hosting Palace Encore!, a series of cult classic film screenings this winter.
After months of streaming flicks on our couch, many of us are ready to do something different. Whether you’re looking for a fun date night idea or want to catch up with your closest film-buff mates, this cinema experience is set to tick all your boxes. The best bit? Tickets start at just $10.
Set in the heart of Paddington, cinephiles will be familiar with Sydney’s heritage-listed cinematic gem, Chauvel Cinema. For over 40 years this iconic theatre has been screening some of the best flicks from Australia and around the world, with a passion for the best in independent, world and cult cinema.
After temporarily closing due to COVID-19 restrictions, Chauvel Cinema is back! And to get in excited for a night at the movies, the cinema is hosting ‘Palace Encore!’, bringing you the best in cult classic cinema from around the world. Each week, the cinema will be offering exclusive screenings of iconic flicks not to be missed.
From July to September, you’ll find a stack of epic films screening on Friday and Monday nights, with tickets starting at just $10 for Movie Club members (and $15 for general admission).
