Grab Your Apron: The Big Bake Has Launched Boozy Baking Classes In The Heart Of The CBD

Enjoy baking classes with a competitive edge at the Big Bake in the CBD.

We’ve all had this thought at least once while watching Masterchef or Cake Wars: I could compete in a cooking show. The thrill of the timer counting down, the adrenalin of whipping up your favourite dish, and hoping it impresses the judges as much as it does your family.

Luckily, you can score just that at the Big Bake in the heart of the CBD. After opening earlier this month (on February 10th to be exact), the venue has been playing host to boozing baking classes with a competitive edge.

Gather your mates and book in for a session at the Big Bake and get ready for the ultimate bake-off. Upon arrival, you’ll score a complimentary glass of bubbles with a bar ready to shake-up some tasty cocktails during your session.

And don’t worry, zero baking experience is required to take part. Each 90-minute session is hosted by internationally renowned pastry chef, Ridhi Rahman. As a chef pâtissier at some of Paris’ most delicious cafes, Chef Ridhi will impart his expert knowledge and techniques to budding pastry chefs in the class.

Each session at Big Bake will take you through multiple recipes. Plus, for these ready for a bit of friendly competition, there’ll be an extra surprise recipe you can tackle during the session. Currently, Big Bake is taking attendees through recipes such as Salted Caramel Brownies and a delectable Cheesecake, just to name a few.

Get in quick, Big Bake is running sessions from Wednesday to Friday events until the end of April 2021. Tickets are $50 per person and bookings can be made online here.
