Barangaroo House is transforming into a pop-up winter wonderland

Drink, Eat, Sydney / 12 July 2019

Barangaroo House has had a full winter makeover, complete with cheesy fondue, flowing champagne, pop-up igloos and more.

Plenty of bars across Sydney are getting their cosy winter vibes on with everything from pop-up chalets to artificial snow fields, roaring fireplaces, mulled wine and more. Bringing the heat though with a three-level winter wonderland experience is Barangaroo House. In partnership with Veuve Clicquot and Belvedere Vodka, you can now head to the striking multi-level space for luxe drinks specials, a decadent food offering and a little bit of winter magic thrown in for good measure.

Running now until the end of August, you can have a drink under the stars in a pop-up igloo on the outdoor terrace at Smoke. Adorned with lanterns and fairy lights, the rooftop level comes oozing in romance (hello winter date night idea!). While inside your pop-up igloo, you can take your pick from a cheese or chocolate fondue, plus a decadent baked camembert. To drink, you can choose from Veuve Clicquot champagne with hot Bloody Marys and mulled wine also available.

On the weekends between 12pm and 3pm, $95 will also buy you bottomless champagne and a lunch of ‘alpine snacks’.

Head down one level to Bea and you can warm up with a selection of wood-fire dishes while working your way through the winter drinks selection. Take your pick from a range of mini Belvedere Vodka martinis for $10 daily, with a series of wine dinners also taking place across July and August.

On Barangaroo House’s ground level at the House Bar, you also can sip on spiced martinis. Think delights like a chilli choc espresso martini, spiced apple martini, Belvedere Vodka mule or smoked rosemary martini.

The winter makeover and the full list of “Bring the Heat” offers will be available across all three levels at Barangaroo House until the end of August. For more information, click here.
