Savour a selection of carefully crafted cocktails at your favourite watering holes between 1 – 31 May.
Sydney is welcoming Australian Cocktail Month with open mouths! For one month only, your favourite bars will be partnering with some of the most renowned alcoholic brands to champion the country’s bar scene. And this year the month will be bigger than ever, held across eight states and territories, and 12 cities.
Cocktail enthusiasts will be able to unlock unique bar experiences across the city for just $20 bucks. This exclusive ticket will give you free rein to a specially crafted cocktail menu at venues including Maybe Sammy, Currow Bar, Hickson House, Jangling Jacks and more. With cocktails priced at $14, and non-alcohol options at $10, nightlife in May just got cheaper and more delicious.
Founded by influential industry figure Penny Sippe, Australian Cocktail Month will feature some of Sydney’s most famed brands including Titos Vodka, Bombay Sapphire and local brands including Sydney-based Hickson Rd Gin, Brix White Rum crafted in Surry Hills, Karu Distiller from the Blue Mountains and Farmer’s Wife Distillery in Allworth NSW.
“I am so excited for another year of Australian Cocktail Month. Year two and we have more cities and double the bars involved. Encouraging consumers to head out and explore the bars that make our cities so vibrant whilst enjoying amazing cocktails created by some of the country’s best bartenders is our goal.” said Sippe.
No matter if you like sugar and spice or whisky and ice, there’s something for everyone. And if you’re taking one for the team as the titled designated driver, Australian Cocktail Month has partnered with Lyre’s and their exclusive range of lovingly crafted non-alcoholic spirits. Don’t underestimate these non-alcoholic options, packed with flavour without the punch.
A ticket to Australian Cocktail Month can be used at any participating venue throughout May and is available for purchase now HERE.
