You have a very important decision to make when you fill up your car today. Will it be a jolt of caffeine or some sugary excitement on your tastebuds? It’s difficult and I personally would love to find a way to have a caffeine-infused brain freeze one day, but today the question is would you like a free coffee or a Slurpee?
Dubbed its national day by the infamous chain, it’s natural for them to want to celebrate. All you have to do to join the party is head to a 7-Eleven store at any point on the 7th of November and make a purchase and you get your pick. Purchases can’t be any tobacco or tobacco-related products but it does mean that the 0.25c Chupa Chup at the register counts!
Julie Laycock, GM Customer & Insights at 7-Eleven has shared that the chain serves “over a million cups of freshly ground coffee each week, and with their famous Slurpees the stores are on track to serve 100 million drinks this year”.
To take the hype up even further, brand loyalists will have the opportunity to win one of 12 prizes of $711 each. The competition will reward the most creative 7-Eleven Day celebrations shared across social channels, featuring the hashtag #7ElevenDay and tagging @7elevenaus.
