12-Micron’s inventive menu is ready for Melbourne Cup Day.
One of Barangaroo’s newest eateries and bars is gearing up for a big Melbourne Cup Day this year. Located on the second floor of the newly developed waterfront precinct, enjoy the atmospheric spring weather as you enjoy a taste of the fine dining experience on offer at 12-Micron.
Tower 1 at Barangaroo will come alive with 12-Micron’s contemporary Australian cuisine. For $139pp you can enjoy the decadence of the best local produce served across a four-course menu.
After enjoying a glass of Mumm Champagne upon your arrival tempt yourself with a kingfish appetiser, before choosing between an entree of chicken corn and potato and marron with celery. The simple yet sophisticated menu will reach its crescendo when the mains of lamb with heirloom carrot and barramundi with horseradish, broccoli and almond arrive. There is a vegetarian and vegan option available upon request. If you can fit it in, finish with dessert of either moscato mousse or chocolate with tonka bean and Australian cumquats.
Of course it wouldn’t be race day without certain traditions. Whether you place a bet with a sweep or take on your friends and foes in the fashions on the field competition, 12-Micron will have something for everyone.
