The Inaugural Oktoberfest ‘Running of the Wieners’ took place on September 19th, to kick off the Oktoberfest activities in Melbourne. The Hophaus Bavarian Bier Bar Grill teamed up with My Dachshund Online to bring you the ‘Hophaus Inaugural Dachshund Race’.
All you need to know is that there were sausage dogs. Lots and lots of sausage dogs. Most in doggy-costumes competing for Best Dressed as well as the overall title. Plus, the event raised $3500 for Dachshund Rescue Australia, so everybody wins.
