As autumn gives way to Melbourne’s cool winter, Victoria by Farmer’s Daughters partners with Starward Australian Whisky, beckoning guests to cosy up with a bottomless brunch of delicious food and whisky cocktails in the bustling heart of Melbourne’s CBD.
Following the success of their Summer Sunday Sessions, Victoria by Farmer’s Daughters launches the Winter Saturday Sessions, taking place every Saturday from 13 May to 29 July. With two sittings offered, patrons can gather in the restaurant’s main dining room to enjoy a shared menu celebrating local Victorian produce.
Executive Chef Alejandro Saravia and his team present a seasonally-inspired feast at $99pp, featuring dishes such as Mount Zero grain arancini, BBQ free-range Barangarook pork belly, roasted root vegetable pie, artisan cured meats, Victorian farmhouse cheeses, and Spud Sisters’ potato fries. The meal concludes with a delightful Cuvée white chocolate doughnut.
Starward, the world’s most awarded distillery, will take over the bar each Saturday, serving up an array of bottomless whisky cocktails alongside a selection of Victorian wines and beers. Starward’s unique twist on classic cocktails, like the Whisky Dark and Stormy, Smoked Whisky and Coke, and Lemon and Cherry Old Fashioned, showcases their versatile whiskies, matured in Australian red wine barrels.
