Time Out has just awarded their 2015 Melbourne food awards so now you can find the most delicious restaurants in Australia’s foodiest city.
Japanese fusion restaurant Kappo took out the top prize, Restaurant of the Year, and was joined by fellow Japanese eateries Minamishima picking up the award for Best Fine Dining Restaurant and Hakata Gensuke winning Best Bang for Buck.
The Hot Talent Award went to O.My brothers Blayne, Chayse and Tyson Bertoncello and Chef of the Year went to Scott Pickett (Estelle, ESP and St Crispin).
North Fitzroy’s much loved 17 year old institution Moroccan Soup Bar received this years Legend Award. People’s Choice Award went to Market Lane’s HuTong Dumpling Bar, famous for their xiao long bao (soup dumplings).
The night was held at Master Chef judge George Calombari’s restaurant Gazi and was attended by over 200 culinary experts, professional eaters and Time Out readers.
