Win a Shabu Shabu Dinner for you & friends at Tetsujin

Competitions, Eat, Melbourne / 24 August 2017

Shabu shabu the winter blues away with your besties with a giveaway voucher to try Tetsujin’s latest dish of dining theatrics

They say that sharing is caring, and nothing says ‘love you mate’ better than sharing a shabu shabu with your nearest and dearest.
So what in the world is shabu shabu? We’re glad you asked. It’s a big, share-sized steaming hot pot of Japanese broth filled with your choice of more than 45 fresh ingredients that’s designed for sharing with up to five of your besties.
Shabu Shabu
A hearty and delicious dish, Tetsujin‘s shabu shabu continues with the tradition of share-style dishes combined with a little dining theatrics. Order one up and a portable grill will be placed on your table so you can watch your stock and ingredients boil to perfection.
With five delicious stock bases to choose from and a myriad of ingredients including premium cuts of wagyu, shitake mushrooms, crab stick, udon and fresh oysters, there’s something for vegetarians, pescatarians and carnivores alike.
It’s not a Japanese dish without a side of sauces, so dip your meat and vegetables into Tetsujin’s soy, sesame paste and ponzu sauce throughout your shabu shabu.
The dish’s fun-to-say name is onomatopoeic, mimicking the sound made when the ingredients are stirred in the pot. Get your chopsticks in and shabu shabu!
