The Night Noodle Markets is back, this time with a newly launched Pimms Garden Bar

What is reminiscent of summer and evokes instant happiness? Maybe it’s the feeling of a cool breeze on a hot night. Now in its fifth year, the Night Noodle Markets again ignites our taste buds by presenting some of the best enticing fare any food lover visiting the river could wish for.

From 9 to 26 November 2017, take the opportunity to try some of the best Asian influenced delights at Birrarung Marr. With a hawker style setup, you’ll want to sample everything as you casually meander past each food vendor.

As you stroll through the open air market, sensory overload inevitably occurs. Hear the chatter of people over the live music, smell the delicious foods being prepared and experience impressive performances, including the Chinese Dragon dance.

With over 30 vendors, you won’t be stuck for options. Are you craving the Filipino flavours of glazed chicken or pork skewers from Hoy Pinoy? Or perhaps a delicious torched vanilla bean crème with raspberries from The Brulee Cart?

For the first time at the Night Noodle Markets, Puffle are creating their cheesy egg waffles stuffed with Korean Fried Chicken or Bulgogi beef Philly cheeseteak. The ever popular Mr Miyagi is dishing up peking duck tacos, Bombay crab tacos and sushi fries.

All time favourite, Gelato Messina is spoiling us with four exclusive desserts served from their Japanese Game Show themed stand. Try the ‘Kamikaze Katsu’ deep fried ice cream sandwich or the ‘ONO-Giri’, a pistachio and green tea gelato version of the popular onigiri rice found in Japan, and yes, it’s made with real seaweed.

For the wine lovers out there, detour via Brand’s Laira pop-up Cellar Door. Enjoy a bit of luxury amongst the hustle and try the award winning Brand’s Laira 2014 Blockers Cabernet Sauvignon, from Coonawarra, South Australia.

The less adventurous table diners are catered for just as much as the walking traveller. If you’d rather save your energy for dining rather than expend it on a walkabout, head to the upper terrace and grab a seat at the complimentary Menulog At Home Zone. Place an order and during your repose, relish the table service while enjoying the expansive view of the city as the sun sets.
