But Windsor hot spot, Morris Jones’ recently launched $3 Rose nights, you can throw roses at the wind, shout ‘money schmoney!’ and carry on the party all summer long.
Happening every Thursday, ‘Rose Tint My World’ is an incredible steal with cold, pink, delicious rose being poured for $3 from 4pm – 10pm. That’s a rose-tinted happy hour right there. They’ll be pouring a 2017 Beautiful Mystery Rose from King Valley in Victoria which is a Provence style Rose made from 100% Sangiovese which has summery notes of strawberry, apricot and white peach with a crisp with a textual finish.
Morris Jones recently underwent a transformative renovation and is more crowd pleasing than ever. The menu is is themed around a cool Californian meets Japanese style and that’s echoed throughout the vibe of the restaurant and cocktail bar. There’s also an open air garden courtyard that’s perfect for catch ups over a chilled wine and something delicious from the fusion menu on a hot summer evening.
Expect to be welcomed by a garden-style sanctuary, with flowers, vines and foliage cascading from aerial pergolas to meet a sleek, curved Carrara marble bar. Make sure to look out for the hidden upstairs ‘Attic Bar’ for additional hang out spaces.
