Come along for epic beer, pizza and roller disco at the newly expanded Moon Dog.

Tucked away in Abbotsford’s industrial quarters is Moon Dog, a micro brewery meets bar renown for its thought evoking brews and ‘anything goes’ attitude.
Having recently taken over an adjoining warehouse, Moon Dog Brewery is now pumping out more delicious brews than ever before. So how much more beer can we expect from brothers Josh and Jake Uljans and mate Karl van Buuren? Well production capabilities have increased dramatically, from 400,000 litres to 2.5 million litres per annum.
As for the original brewery, it is set to feature all specialty brews, including a pineapple pale ale, passionfruit and coffee porter, black forest stout, barrel aged smokey stout and fruits of the forest wild ale. The plan is to also expand on this range with a further 100 barrels.

Another exciting element of Moon Dog’s latest expansion is the launch of Roller Disco Sundays. As the title suggests, the first Sunday of each month will see the transformation of the new ballroom space with the assistance of Tamsin at Malt Shop Be Bop Hop Roller Arena. Each Sunday will honour a different theme, so get ready for a day of skates, disco balls, DJs and epic dress ups. The next instalment will be on Sunday 8th October so be sure to clear the diary.
Skating not your thing? There’s also a ton of other fun stuff happening. Head next door to the pizza caravan, where they’ll be dishing up mouth watering delights like ‘David Hassle Hock’, made with ham hock and pickled pineapple, or the truffled mushroom extravaganza that is ‘There Ain’t Mushroom In The Town For…’
The pizza caravan is open Wedesday to Friday 4pm-11pm; Saturday midday-11pm; Sunday midday-8pm.
