Calling all ski bunnies! Mont Plonk invites you to an alpine-themed pop-up guaranteed to keep you warm this winter.
You don’t have to head to the slopes this winter to get your annual dose of après ski, with the ultimate alpine-themed takeover happening at Melbourne Public’s terrace. Running from 28th June to 26th August, Mont Plonk promises an authentic après-ski experience smack-bang in the middle of Melbourne.
Teaming up with Ugg Australia and Asahi, Mont Plonk promises to keep you feeling cosy with an array of fur blankets, sheepskin rugs, and cosy fire-pits. The warming comforts don’t stop there, with winter beverages including spiced mulled wine, boozy hot chocolate and hot toddys all on offer. To soak up all those delicious juices, this winter pop-up will also provide an array of traditional food that wouldn’t be out of place on the Alps, including the likes of decadently oozy cheese fondues and hearty bratwurst sausages. And look out for the shot skis… yep, shot glasses attached to skis!
Entry to this winter wonderland is free, but Melbournians also have the opportunity to reserve tables by purchasing a ‘Group Ski Pass’. Suitable for groups of 4, 6, 8 or 10, this pass includes a cheese fondue, sausages, a choice of a wintery drink and some shots from the shot-skis.
Those looking to get a special first look are also cordially invited to the official opening party being held on Thursday 28th June.
If you’re popping in for some after work apres ski action, you can also get $10 espresso martinis and $10 Peroni pints between 4-7pm Monday to Friday
