Gin lovers here’s your chance to smash a Guinness World Record™!
Ever wanted to break a Guinness World Record™? Here is your chance. The crew from Gintonica, curators of Australian crafts gins, are leading the charge to attempt to earn the title of the Largest Gin Tasting Event (Multiple Venues) this November.
On Sunday, November 22nd from 3:00 pm to 5:30 pm (AEST), Gintonica’s Ginormous Gin Tasting will attempt to break this existing world record. The aim is to encourage gin lovers to flock back to gin distilleries and gin-centric bars Australia-wide.
There are over 50 Australian gin distilleries and gin-centric bars taking part in the Gintonica Ginormous Gin Tasting event. Currently, the world record is 796 simultaneous events happening at once. The Gintonica team are hoping to smash that with over 1,500 simultaneous tastings happening across Australia this November.
“It’s all about re-connecting gin lovers with Aussie gin distilleries and bars across the country. A bit of a re-group after what has been a challenging year for all,” said Gintonica’ s David Box.
“We hope by staging this event, craft gin lovers will have a damn good reason to get out and enjoy themselves, but more importantly lend a hand to all those distilleries and bars who have been hit hard.”
Tickets to these tastings ($75 per person) will include an afternoon of gin tastings and entertainment, including:
