Discover Limited-Edition Gin And Tonic Garden Bars Coming To You This Summer

Bars, Drink / 7 January 2020

Cool off with a well-made G&T in hand at these pop-up garden bars, thanks to the crew at Fever Tree.

It’s one of Australia’s most popular spirits, and best enjoyed on a balmy summer evening while soaking in the last moments of sunshine. The humble gin and tonic is a go-to order for punters across the country and with good reason. It’s a refreshing mix of punchy botanicals, zesty citrus and topped with a splash of sparkling tonic. If we had to pick the drink of an Aussie summer, this would be it.

For those who are scouting out the perfect place to find a delicious G&T, we’ve found just the spots to visit. This summer, the crew from premium tonic crafters Fever Tree has created a string of gin and tonic bar gardens in top-notch venues across the country. From Sydney to Melbourne and beyond, these pop-up gin and tonic gardens are set to be just the place to head to cool off on a hot summer’s night.

Sydneysiders can find these limited-editions gardens at the Woolhara Hotel, the CBD’s Shelbourne Hotel as well as the Union Hotel in the heart of Newtown. If you’re heading out of town, swing by Ciao Cucina in Port Melbourne, Richmond Social or Brisbane’s Covent Garden in West End to experience these gin and tonic gardens first-hand.

And these pop-up bars are set to be worth the trip with stellar gin-focused offering to suit every taste. Each alfresco garden will be pouring plenty of gin and tonic, complete with DIY garnish stations to give you the chance to craft your perfect drink. Plus, bartenders will be on hand to guide you through the process of mixing and matching different botanicals and garnishes.

These pop-up gin and tonic gardens come off the back of Fever Tree’s sold-out Gin & Tonic Festival held in Centennial Parklands back in September 2019.
