Bookings are now open for the 2020/2021 season of Antarctica Flights, the world’s most unique scenic flight.

Like so many things we took for granted prior to COVID-19, overseas travel is off our radar for the foreseeable future. With many of us postponing or even canceling travel plans for the months ahead, we’re all searching for ways to get out and explore our own backyard. But if you’re looking for a unique travel experience that takes you out of Australia in 2020, we’ve found the exclusive charter flight for you.

Get ready for Antarctica Flight’s 2020/2021 season, a unique tour company offering charter flights from Australia across the Antarctic continent. Each year for the past 26 years between November and February the tour company takes passengers on an epic day trip over these icy peaks, with 7 flights running across the season from Australia capital cities (include Melbourne, Sydney, Perth, Brisbane and Adelaide).

In 2020, these epic tours are going to look a little different. For the first time, Antarctica Flights will be touring abroad the 787 Dreamliner (an aircraft with 65% larger windows than any other vessel of its size). Qantas has been chartered to operate the flights which will take punters on a 12-hour round trip from their starting point, over Antarctica for four hours and back home again.

So, how can these tours operate when international travel is off the cards? As these flights don’t land in Antarctica they are considered domestic flights (as they take punters back to their original destination in Australia). Sneaky right?

While you won’t get the chance to get out and explore Antarctica, these epic tours give you four uninterrupted hours of stunning views. Onboard you can meet Antarctic explores, get the ultimate birdseye view of the continent, enjoy a full bar service plus two full-service Qantas meals (along with plenty of snacks throughout the flight).

Antarctica Flights’ upcoming 2020/2021 season is now open for bookings, with tickets starting at $1,199 per person (all the way up to Business Class Deluxe which will set you back $7,999 per person). To find out more, click here
