Australia’s iconic Moonlight Cinema programme is in full swing and they’re turning up the heat just in time for Valentine’s Day.
Moonlight Cinema is one of Australia’s longest-running outdoor cinemas setting up residents in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide every Summer. This year marks the 27th instalment running from the end of November 2022 to March 2023. This February will see the summer programming take a steamy turn as Moonlight Cinema presents ‘A Week of Romance’ from Wednesday 8th February – 15th February. From Galentine’s to Valentine’s, Moonlight’s got you covered with an array of romantic screenings. Fire up the group chat and lock in a steamy Galentines at a special preview screening of the final movie of the Magic Mike Franchise, Magic Mike’s Last Dance, or sink down into the picnic blanket and get snug with rom-com faves such as Notting Hill and 10 Things I Hate About You.
Film buffs will be well acquainted with the relaxed setting that makes Moonlight Cinema events unforgettable. Set in the lush Centennial Park, these screenings give you a much-needed excuse to kick back in the outdoors and soak in those balmy summer evening vibes as day turns to night – the perfect setting for an evening of romance.
