Book yourself a botanical room at West Hotel for a sensory, summer getaway

As part of a summer activation at West Hotel on Sussex St guests can book one of their botanical-inspired rooms. A beautiful oversized floral arbour is suspend above the bed, cascading down the headboard creating a canopy so you can literally ‘sleep amongst the botanics’. Designed by boutique Sydney florists The Hunted Yard the room also includes items from Bonnie and Neil, a Melbourne based brand known for their colourful, hand-crafted botanical items.

The West Hotel ‘Sleep Amongst Botanics’ accommodation package is available to guests over the summer holiday period, from December 2018 to mid-January 2019.

Priced from $332 per night, the package includes:

  • Overnight accommodation for two in the Bonnie and Neil-styled Banksia Deluxe Room
  • Full breakfast at Solander Dining for two
  • Two ‘Summer of Gin’ Archie Rose cocktails and bar snack menu items at Solander Dining
  • Biology Skin 2-Step “In the Buff” gift pack

The botanical suites are part of West Hotel’s ‘Meet the Creatives’ collaboration series. Earlier this year, they launched the first one partnering with two Australian fashion identities, Jack Phillips of Eight Eight, and Weave Dibden-Neck of By Weave and ukiyo-co labels for a style collaboration. Each created their own bespoke, limited edition fashion items exclusively for West Hotel.

Located not far from Barangaroo, West Hotel is one of Sydney’s newest designer hotels. It features 182 stylish guest rooms and a beautiful bar. If you’re feeling hungry pop down to Solander Dining and Bar, an elegant, dimly lit space for dinner and drinks. The Oz burger made with a kangaroo patty, beetroot chutney and blue cheese layered between a charcoal brioche bun is one of the tastiest burgers in Sydney.
