Bar 83 at Sydney Tower

Bar 83 Sydney CBD, Sydney's Highest Bar 83 Floors Above the Street

Perched on level 83 of Sydney Tower, this Trippas White Group venue opened in September 2020 as the tallest bar in the city, and the view still does most of the talking. Floor to ceiling windows wrap a 260 degree outlook over the CBD and harbour, while a retro futuristic fit out of circular lounges, gold lighting and mirrored surfaces gives the room its own identity rather than leaning purely on the height.

The food menu is built for sharing, running from caviar service and Sydney Rock oysters to kangaroo skewers, a double cheeseburger and a rotating Australian cheese and charcuterie board, all designed to sit alongside a cocktail list crafted from Australian produce. It sits directly below sibling venues Infinity and SkyFeast, so the whole level operates as a small dining precinct within the tower.

Bookings are strongly recommended given the view is the main draw, and DJs play Friday and Saturday nights from 7pm. Kids are welcome earlier in the day but last entry for under 18s is 5.30pm due to licensing.
