Bar Clarence

Bar Clarence, down the stairs and into daiquiri country

Bar Clarence is a daiquiri bar in the basement of 275 Clarence Street, Sydney CBD, from Sam Overton of Lucky’s Lounge and Frankie Cadillac. It’s a small, moody room for just 50 guests.

Bar Clarence is a basement bar with one big idea, the daiquiri. It’s just rum, lime and sugar, shaken hard and served ice cold, and the list takes it in ten different directions. Happy hour runs Tuesday to Friday, and hospo workers get happy hour prices all day, every day the bar is open. Jaffles and bar snacks keep the second round easy, and with walk ins only, you can just show up and stay a while.
