Play, Sydney / 18 July 2023

It’s B.Y.O good vibes with the festival set to take place later this year.

Mark your calendars for an epic music festival set to take over University of Wollongong campus for two whole days! Yours and Owls are lighting up the lush green ovals of UOW with the best talent around Australia and upcoming music icons. For the first time in 3 years, the festival will also be welcoming back famed international artists, set to take the stage to perform their greatest hits.

Dubbed as Wollongong’s ultimate 2-day music & arts festival, the 2023 lineup has just been announced and boasts an incredible mix of artists. International guests include British artist Bakar, most recently known for soundtracking Givenchy’s Fall/Winter 23 Men’s show during Paris Fashion Week. His sounds bridge the gap between Indie, hip-hop, punk and rock, with over 3.5M+ monthly listeners on Spotify. New Zealand duo Broods are also making their exclusive appearance at Yours and Owls. Their signature blend of floating indie tones have not gone unnoticed, winning them 10 New Zealand Music Awards and gaining A-lister collaborations with the likes of Lorde and Taylor Swift.

Perhaps one of the most anticipated acts in the lineup is multiple ARIA Award-winner Chet Faker, returning to Australia for his first show since 2015. He’ll take to the stage with some of his iconic songs as well as debuting new music at the festival. The mesmerising beat maker, Golden Features, will also be performing, bringing his deep house dance tunes to all electronic music fans. His music has led him to selling out headline shows, with over 275 million global streams.

For something different, make sure to check out Sacramento spoken word poet and rapper Hobo Johnson (Frank Lopes), known for his viral homegrown style videos. His work blends spoken word, with punk, folk and rap music, backed by his band The Lovemakers. You can also catch Jamaican-born, American-raised, Masego, whipping out his saxophone to play live tunes of trap, house and jazz. He’s famous for his talented on the spot beat-making and improvised sax sessions, seeing him land guest recordings with celebrities like Kehlani and Drake.
