After hearing an inspirational story of one woman’s battle to find relevant and good care, a group of people decided to establish the Youngcare charity. Thousands of young Australians who have health problems are living in aged care due to having no other alternative or are being cared for at home with limited support. Youngcare are determined to raise awareness of this issue and encourage people to donate in order to change the lives of affected young Australians and their families.
You are invited to their fund-raising ball which will take place at the Doltone House and is in memory of Josh Scott Paul, who did amazing achievements for the charity. It’s a black tie event and the theme is “girls in pearls, chaps in hats”. The night will involve canapés and a three course sit down meal with drinks. There will be live entertainment, auctions, raffles and guest speakers for you and your friends to enjoy as well as a goodie bag for you to take away.
Youngcare are aiming to raise $50,000 on the night to influence change and give young people with high care needs, more options in life. Get involved!
