Cure Cancer and Merivale At Home have teamed up for the World’s Best BYO campaign, raising funds for cancer research.
What do Mr. Wong, Totti’s, Fred’s and Jimmy’s Falafel all have in common? They’re part of the epic restaurant line-up participating in the World’s Best BYO. For more than a decade, this annual event (hosted by Cure Cancer) has united Sydney foodies with the invitation to dig deep and support vital cancer research. The best bit? Participants will get to enjoy delicious restaurant-quality eats and pair wines matched by Australia’s top sommeliers.
In 2020, the need to get behind this initiative has never been more important. Like so many charities, organisations and businesses, Cure Cancer has been impacted by COVID-19. As most of the charity’s 2020 fundraising events have been postponed or canceled altogether, getting behind the World’s Best BYO campaign is more important than ever (helping the charity to raise vital funds to enable important cancer research).
So, how can you take part in the 2020 World’s Best BYO initiative? Running now until September 7th, Cure Cancer has teamed up with Merivale At Home to offer delicious restaurant-quality dinner boxes and pair wines (with donations going towards vital cancer research). To take part, simply head to Merivale At Home’s website, select the menu and pair beverages pack, make a donation to cure cancer and your home dining kit will be delivered to your door.
The best bit? Every delicious dinner box is packed with almost-ready-to-eat dishes from Merivale’s top restaurants, with just a few simple steps needed to heat, prepare and serve. Each box includes links to video tutorials so you can cook along at home with Sydney’s top chefs. And once your dishes are ready, tune into Cure Cancer’s bespoke playlist and enjoy your at-home feast while raising funds for a great cause.
