Woollahra Hotel is transforming its upstairs terrace into Sydney’s ultimate Australian Open viewing destination this summer.
From 12th January to 1st February, Tennis on The Terrace channels the buzzy atmosphere of Melbourne Park’s Garden Square without the interstate flight.
The iconic Eastern Suburbs pub is partnering with Piper-Heidsieck and Balter, official AO partners, to serve up $99 bottles of champagne and $40 MEGA jugs alongside live tennis action from midday until late.
Bistro Moncur Head Chef Tom Deadman has curated a limited-edition menu perfect for long, lazy afternoons courtside. Expect juicy tiger prawn baguettes with cucumber, capsicum and sriracha cocktail sauce, classic chicken finger sandwiches, and summery strawberries and cream with profiteroles.
Deck chairs line the sun-soaked terrace, creating the perfect spot for five-set thrillers or celebratory bubbles. Whether you’re a tennis tragic or just chasing sunshine and atmosphere, this is how you experience the Australian Open in Sydney.
