Top Sydney bars are celebrating Woodford Reserve Old Fashioned Week by slinging out free cocktails during November.
You can’t go past a classic cocktail! It’s the perfect contender to start the night and even sweeter when it’s on the house. To celebrate the world’s number one classic cocktail, the Old Fashioned, 40 of Australia’s finest cocktail bars and restaurants are twisting up the original, using Woodford Reserve, and offering you a free one too!
The festival runs from Saturday 4th November to Saturday 18th November and as part of the celebration the 15th best bar in Australasia, Maybe Sammy, will welcome bartenders from the top spot, The Bar In Front Of The Bar, for a Grecian takeover.
Outside of the international arrivals, Old Fashioned Week will see some of Sydney’s most beloved institutions partake! Standouts include Chin Chin, Stitch Bar and Hickson House.
Establishments will also be offering cocktail masterclasses, exclusive menus, and lavish food pairings. Each bar will have its take on the recipe, creating a unique experience so you can test them all. At every location, our most innovative bartenders will put their twists on the whiskey, sugar, bitters and citrus garnish.
While the festival has been running for several years, 2023 is the first time that whiskey lovers can get their hands on a complimentary Woodford Reserve Old Fashioned.
