Winners of the 2016 Good Food Awards

At the 2016 Good Food Awards last Monday, the best of the best from Sydney’s dining scene came together in the Ivy Ballroom to celebrate good taste and good people. The 31st edition of the annual Sydney dining manifesto was presented by Vittoria Coffee and Citi Bank.
The Bridge Room took out Restaurant of the Year, and received a coveted third hat, joining Quay, Rockpool est 1989 and Sepia. Other big winners included Bennelong, who debuted with two hats and won Best New Restaurant of the Year. East Sydney’s Cafe Paci had it’s Head Chef Pasi Petanen declared Chef of the Year, while Monopole owners Brent Savage and Nick Hildebrandt hit a double whammy with Bar of the Year and Best Wine List for Bentley Restaurant and Bar.Good Food Guide
