The Watsons Bay Cider Festival is back!
Friends, foodies, cider-lovers, lend us your ears (or eyes). The Watsons Bay Cider Festival has returned to Watson’s Bay Boutique Hotel for the forth consecutive year. This time with more cider, more food and more apple-bobbing. You can partake in the ideal experience of sipping on a crisp cider, overlooking the sparkling Watson’s Bay shore, on Sunday 22nd October from 11am.
The Watson’s Bay Cider Festival lines up an array of food stalls, cider pairings and live entertainment, against the stunning, waterside backdrop. Breathtaking harbour views are complimented by fresh greenery.
Sweet and savoury menu options available will include paella, tacos and homemade Nutella donuts (which certainly catch our attention!). Every food stall dish can be paired perfectly with a different pint of cider, with Young Henry’s Cider, SASSY Cider, Batlow Cider, 5 Seeds Cider, James Squire Orchard Crush, Pip Squeek Cider, Kirin Cider, Willie Smiths Cider & Rekorderlig Cider.
This years Cider Festival introduces a new area for guests seeking a more chilled atmosphere, away from all the hustle and bustle. The Garden Lounge will be open for guests to kick back, enjoy the views and even participate in the apple-bobbing competition! Ever had an overpowering desire to dip your head in a sea of apples and try and grab one with your teeth? Well now you can.
The festival also includes a Cider Trail Tasting, which includes a sample at each of the 10+ cider stalls. Wandering down the yellow-brick road of cider land leads you to finish with a complementary bottle of your favourite cider of the day. A must-do experience for any aspiring cider aficionado.
