WIN Tickets to Uncorked Avalon, A Pop-up Wine and Oyster Festival

Sip on semillon and slurp oysters at Uncorked Avalon, a pop-up wine festival arriving to the Northern Beaches.

Summer may be over but this glorious autumnal weather is certainly worth celebrating, and what better way to do so then with a day of vino and oysters. Uncorked Avalon will see the sandy shores of Avalon transformed into a wine and food lover’s haven, showcasing the delights of the Hunter Valley wine region.
Kicking off on Sunday 22nd April, visitors are encouraged to wander through an array of  pop-up stalls, sampling gourmet delights and wines of Australia’s oldest wine region including an exciting addition to the festival program – a pop-up Semillon and oyster bar.
The pop-up bar will be hosted by four of the Hunter’s leading winemakers, who will showcase the region’s Semillon variety matched with freshly shucked Sydney Rock oysters.
Those looking to learn a little more can also get involved in a series of masterclasses. Hosted by big names in wine such as Mount Pleasant Wines, McLeish Estate Wines, Tamburlaine Organic Wines and Tulloch Wines, masterclasses will run for 45 minutes and cost $45 per person. This includes a souvenir Riedel glass, a flight of Hunter Valley Semillon and half a dozen oysters. Be warned though, spots are limited to 20 only, so be sure to book in advance.
