A Festival Dedicated To Tiny Homes Is Happening In Sydney This Weekend

Cool Sh*t, Play, Sydney / 4 March 2020

Experience the inaugural Tiny Homes Carnival, coming to Sydney this March.

With Sydney’s rising property prices showing no signs of slowing down, we’ve probably all contemplated living off the grid. Why not sell everything we own, pack up our lives and reconnect with nature in a tiny bushland hut. In fact, a recent survey has revealed 82.1% of Aussies have contemplated living in a tiny home at some point.

If you’re curious about what this tiny home thing is all about, the inaugural Tiny Homes Carnival is just the event you need to attend. Hosted at the St Ives Showground on March 7th and March 8th 2020, this event is set to be a showcase of some of the industry’s best tiny homes. The weekend will give guests an insight into why people are choosing to live in tiny homes, highlighting the simplicity and versatility of this way of life. Expect free expert advice, seminars, news about the latest tiny home designs and so much more.

The Tiny Homes Carnival is the brainchild of two of Australia’s leading tiny home organisations, Big Tiny and the Australian Tiny House Association. The weekend is set to educate Sydneysiders about how to make a tiny home a reality and what a holiday in a tiny home is actually like. Plus, the Tiny Homes Carnival is set to be joined by special guests John Weisbarth and Zack Giffin from Netflix’s Tiny House Nation, on-hand to share their insights into transitioning into living in a time home.

Aside from talks and workshops, attendees can also watch a live tiny house build, explore displays of fully-furnished tiny homes, plus indulge in food and drink stalls and so much more.

The inaugural Tiny Homes Carnival is happening at the St Ives Showground from March 7th to March 8th, with tickets (from $25) available online now. Make sure to book ahead, as only limited tickets will be available at the door ($45).
